This is the archive for all reviews on the blog. Titles that exist on more than one platform are sorted under “Multi-Platform”, while exclusives are kept under the console of which they are an exclusive. Scores are based on a 20-point scale, ranging from 1 to 10 with half points in-between. Here’s a rough breakdown of what the scores mean:
10: Run out, buy a copy, then raise it above your head as you bask in all its glory.
8 – 9.5: A great to superb buy. Just go out and grab a copy already.
6 – 7.5: A solid purchase, but you may want to wait on a price drop or give it a rental first.
4 – 5.5: Unless you loves the series or subject matter, I suggest you either rent it or wait for a heavy price drop.
2 – 3.5: Exercise extreme caution and brace yourself for utter disappointment, as well as buyer’s remorse. You should avoid these altogether, but if you must, don’t say I didn’t warn you.
1 – 1.5: Avoid anything within this range like the plague. Don’t even give it a look on store shelves, and if you do, wash your eyes out vigorously to alleviate the pain of seeing such an abomination exist.
BioShock Infinite – 10 out of 10
Injustice: Gods Among Us – 8 out of 10
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance – 9 out of 10
Dynasty Warriors 7: Empires – 6 out of 10
God of War: Ascension – 8.5 out of 10
